Reducing Waste with 3ml Insulin Vials
In an effort to reduce waste and lower our customers cost, Waltz Long Term Care Pharmacy will now be dispensing Humulin N, Humulin R, Humulin 70/30 and Humalog in 3 ml vials (300 units). We will continue to stock and dispense the larger 10 ml (1000 units) and will only dispense these smaller vials when

Maine Office of Substance Abuse / PDMP require SS# for Controlled substance fill
Maine Office of Substance Abuse and PDMP now require Social Security Numbers to be on file for Controlled substance filling. Pharmacy staff will be calling for Patients Social Security Number with regards to Controlled Substance filling if the patients Social Security Number is not on file. Thank you
