Here at Waltz Pharmacy, we are always finding new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and be environmentally friendly. For the past couple of years, we have been transitioning from our original delivery vehicles, the Subaru Forester, over to the Toyota Prius Hybrid.
With each of our delivery vehicles averaging 70,000 miles per year, this change is vital in helping us protect the environment. Using the Terra Pass carbon footprint calculator, we calculated that this change will keep 288,000 pounds of CO2 from being released into the air per year.
This is just one way our team works to be good environmental stewards. Additionally our director of finance and administration, Michael Nussbaum, frequently bikes four miles to work.
