Maine Office of Substance Abuse / PDMP require SS# for Controlled substance fill

Maine Office of Substance Abuse and PDMP now require Social Security Numbers to be on file for Controlled substance filling. Pharmacy staff will be calling for Patients Social Security Number with regards to Controlled Substance filling if the patients Social Security Number is not on file.
